As a part of our commitment to shooting on the most appropriate camera for our clients we took the opportunity to test the capacity of Canon’s new 5D. The full frame 12.8 Megapixel EOS 5D is discreet enough to avoid attention which makes it ideal for documentary filmmakers and with its CMOS sensor it provides stunning images. The size and resolution make it an interesting proposition but it has a number of draw backs which make our beloved HVX 202 our preferred camera of choice for most uses.
